  MUSIWAVE SECURES EXCLUSIVE ON NEW BEYONCE RINGTONE
  

  "Ring the Alarm" Ringtone by Top SonyBMG Artist Beyonce Available Immediately Through Major Mobile Operators and Musiwave Online Portals
 
PARIS, France - August 25, 2006 -- Musiwave, an Openwave company (Openwave Systems Inc. NASDAQ: OPWV), and a leading provider of mobile music entertainment services to operators and media companies worldwide, announced an exclusive arrangement with SonyBMG for the new ringtone of Beyonce's latest single, "Ring the Alarm." Exclusive distribution is effective immediately and is an "official leak" from Beyonce's new album "B'Day" out on September 4.

The ringtone will be sold through Musiwave operator partners outside the UK and Sweden - Vodafone, Telefonica, Orange, Wind, Telecom Italia, Optimus, Amena, Bouygues Telecom and iMode - and through Musiwave-branded online portals.
