Telekom Slovenije Collaborates with Openwave to Bring Converged Communications to Its Customers
Bundled, Converged Solution Combines Email, Rich Mail and Anti-Abuse for Rapid Deployment of Innovative and Secure Messaging Services

Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OPWV), one of the world's leading software innovators enabling revenue-generating personalized services which converge the mobile and broadband experience, in partnership with Marand d.o.o., a leading solutions providers, today announced that Telekom Slovenije has selected Openwave's Converged Messaging suite including, Openwave RichMail, Openwave Email Mx and Openwave EdgeGx. Openwave's converged communications solutions will enable Telekom Slovenije to launch differentiated and personalized Messaging services, driving its business growth.

The bundled solution selected by Telekom Slovenije includes Openwave RichMail, an AJAX-based, converged communications solution that provides a dynamic Web interface for mobile and broadband operators; Openwave Email Mx, a market-proven flexible email and messaging platform that gives operators the ability to deploy and manage new tailored messaging services to meet evolving messaging demands; and Openwave EdgeGx, a carrier-scale defense system that manages and eliminates inbound and outbound messaging abuse, reducing operational costs and protecting subscribers.
