Openwave received OHSAS 18001 certification for its Redwood City office. Openwave’s OHSAS 18001 certificate number 00011421 was registered on May 21, 2010 and expires on May 21, 2013.
Openwave’s OHSAS 18001 certification process commenced in March 2011 in the Belfast facility. On April 6, 2011, the auditor recommended the Belfast office for OHSAS 18001 certification. Openwave expects to receive the OHSAS18001 certificate for the Belfast office by the end of May 2011.
Openwave is also working towards OHSAS 18001 certification for its Japan office. In additon, the Openwave Japan office implemented a Health and Safety program in 2007 and has also established a Health and Safety committee to comply with requirements imposed by Japanese authorities.
